Para onde vamos e de onde viemos

Ao longo dos anos, algumas palavras foram associadas à paternidade: força, heroísmo, exemplo, presença e proteção. Tantas afirmações e certezas, no entanto, se fragilizam perante o óbvio: a realidade do paternar desafia qualquer prévia definição. Novamente, a natureza e a arte se apresentam para ilustrar o intraduzível. Ao olhar em volta em busca de respostas, a vista se atrai para baixo, para o chão; para aquilo que sustenta. A base que permite que qualquer estrutura floresça, independente do formato e extensão. A terra. Como a terra, a paternidade carrega algo tão simples quanto elementar: nos mostra para onde vamos e de onde viemos.

A estabilidade que é característica da terra – que a faz suporte mesmo em meio a tremores – tampouco a limita. A terra se faz sólida por meio de sua fluidez: pelo movimento dos grãos, na adaptação às contingências e no preenchimento dos vazios. Nessa dança se faz o equilíbrio: toda terra que escorre entre os dedos se acumula em solo firme. A paternidade também: é um eterno construir fortalezas em meio ao constante movimento.
